1. Who we are
Instinct AI is based in the United States. We operate the pre-publish intelligence platform available at useinstinct.ai.
2. Information we collect
- Account information. Name, email, profile image, and authentication identifiers (e.g. via Google sign-in).
- YouTube channel data. When you connect your channel we access channel metadata, video metadata, captions, and analytics through the YouTube API Services.
- Uploaded media. Videos and assets you upload for analysis or rendering.
- Usage data. Pages viewed, features used, device and browser metadata, IP address, and error diagnostics.
- Communications. Messages you send to support, waitlist signups, and survey responses.
3. How we use information
- Deliver, operate, and improve the Service.
- Generate predictive analysis, recommended edits, and render outputs.
- Publish content to your YouTube channel when you explicitly initiate publishing.
- Communicate with you about your account, billing, and updates.
- Detect abuse, fraud, and security incidents.
- Improve our models using aggregated, de-identified data only. We do not train foundation models on your raw video content.
4. YouTube API Services
Instinct uses YouTube API Services. Your use of those features is also subject to the YouTube Terms of Service and the Google Privacy Policy. You can revoke Instinct's access to your Google account at any time at myaccount.google.com/permissions. See our YouTube API Disclosure for the full list of scopes we request and why.
5. AI processing
To generate predictions and recommended edits, we send transcripts, frame samples, and metadata to AI providers including Google (Gemini). These providers process the data on our behalf and do not use it to train their public models. We do not sell your content.
6. Sharing & subprocessors
We share information only with the service providers required to operate Instinct:
- Lovable Cloud / Supabase / Amazon S3 — database, authentication, file storage.
- Google (YouTube + Gemini APIs) — channel data and AI inference.
- Cloudflare — hosting, edge compute, and DDoS protection.
- Railway — video rendering compute.
We do not sell or rent personal information. We may disclose information when required by law or to protect the rights and safety of users and the public.
7. Data retention & deletion
We keep account and project data while your account is active and for a reasonable period afterward for backup, legal, and audit purposes. You can request deletion of your account and associated data at any time by emailing hello@useinstinct.ai.
8. Security
We use TLS in transit, encryption at rest where supported by our providers, row-level authorization on application data, and scoped OAuth tokens for third-party integrations. No system is perfectly secure — we work to reduce risk and respond quickly to incidents.
9. Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, export, or delete the personal information we hold about you, and to object to or restrict certain processing. Contact us at hello@useinstinct.ai to exercise these rights.

11. Children's privacy
The Service is not directed to anyone under 16. We do not knowingly collect information from children.
